Founder: Nell Diamond
As a child, Nell had a love of beautiful textiles and would go through her mother's linen collection, picking out her favorite cloth napkins and arranging them on her bed. When she graduated from college and went shopping for her first real adult apartment, Nell was shocked that it was so hard to find cool, high-quality, and high-design home products in her price range. Then, while earning her Yale MBA, Nell began researching the bedding industry and the fabrication of products (the process of manufacturing or inventing something). Six months after graduating business school, Nell launched Hill House Home.
Hill House Home is a direct-to-consumer lifestyle brand selling bedding, bath, baby, and apparel. The products are all beautifully designed, well-priced, and thoughtfully sourced. Growing up in London, Nell has a distinctly chic style that is reflected not only in the items she sells, but also in the brand aesthetic. Although the company started primarily focused on bedding and bath, it has since achieved notoriety from its extremely popular "Nap Dress", which launched in 2019 and became a virtual sensation during quarantine in 2020.
