Founder: Genevieve Ryan Bellaire
After graduating from Georgetown as a lawyer with an MBA, Genevieve entered the "real world" and soon found herself at a loss when it came to adult things, such as personal finance, navigating healthcare, and paying taxes. Even with her extensive education, she felt completely unprepared to address these items and turned to her parents and Google for help. Genevieve was frustrated by the lack of centralized information and soon realized that she was not alone in her search for advice on these unfamiliar tasks. She decided to launch a co. to help solve this problem for young adults who are new to the "real world".
Realworld is an online platform designed to simplify adulthood by providing information and tips on a variety of real world fundamentals. Foundational elements of adulthood that the platform helps its users with include employment, health insurance, taxes, government ID, apartment, voter registration, credit card, mental health, and more. The company offers customized playbooks, a library of information, as well as an online community where you can ask specific questions and communicate with other Realworld users.
